According to Bloomberg, Toshiba is seeking a credit line valued at $2.5 billion in order to deal with costs associated with an accounting scandal.
Bloomberg noted that this would be the second credit line for Toshiba in the last three months and that the company plans to apply for the funds by the end of January.
Bloomberg also reported that Toshiba, which lost about $8 billion in market value following the scandal, received a $3.32 billion credit line in September.
