Blue Sky Capital Adopts LEASING101 Training to Enhance Client Advisory Services

Blue Sky Capital Strategies has signed on to use LEASING101’s training program to enhance its lease advisory services, according to an announcement from LEASING101.

Jim Cross, CEO of Blue Sky, said the training will help the team better understand clients’ needs and provide more strategic financial solutions. “We have been using Bill’s training and advisory services since 2015 to develop lease advisory services and stay current on lease accounting and tax developments impacting our clients,” Cross said.

Based in the U.S., Blue Sky is a leading provider of lease management and advisory services, managing more than $4 billion in leases. Its clients range from middle-market firms to Fortune 500 companies, as well as nonprofits and municipalities. The firm says its services typically save clients 20% on equipment lease contracts across the entire lease lifecycle.

The LEASING101 program, created by industry veteran Bill Bosco, offers organizations and business schools unlimited access to lease and finance training for a one-time subscription fee. The training is available year-round and includes 11 narrated presentations, eight scripted sales call role-plays, 30 articles, sample pitch books and proposal letters.

The program is designed to support both foundational knowledge and advanced structuring techniques, particularly in mid- to large-ticket leasing.

LEASING101 also offers free resources on its website, including Excel tools, a free HP12C calculator app, and links to lease interpretation guides from major audit firms.
