Boeing Capital Q2 Revenues Up, Earnings Off



Boeing reported that Boeing Capital revenues and operating profit for Q2/15 was $115 million and $11 million, respectively up from $90 million and down from $33 million in the same year-earlier period.

For the first half of 2015, revenues and earnings from operations were $201 million and $31 million, respectively, up from $172 million and down from $77 million a year earlier.

Boeing noted at Q2/15-end Boeing Capital’s net portfolio balance was $3.3 billion, down from $3.4 billion sequentially.

Boeing noted its Commercial Airplanes deliveries of 197 and 381 units in Q2/15 and HI/15, respectively, were up from 181 and 342 units for the same year-ago periods. Boeing said it booked 171 net orders during Q2/15 and has a backlog of nearly 5,700 aircraft valued at $431 billion.
