The Wall Street Journal reported that Boeing is contemplating a 10% reduction in its workforce of 160,000, according to people familiar with the matter.
The Journal noted that the cuts are expected to affect the commercial division of the aircraft manufacturer as it has been hit the hardest by COVID-19.
The staff reduction could involve layoffs, premature retirements and buyouts according to the Journal.
