Wendy Segal joined Capital One as managing director and market manager for the New York Metro Regional Commercial Banking group. Segal will report to Lou Mastrianni, head of Northeast Regional Commercial Banking.

Segal has over 30 years of diverse experience in commercial banking and is known for providing strategic advice and financial solutions to middle market and Fortune 1000 public and private companies. She joins Capital One after two and a half years as New York market manager for City National Bank, a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada. Prior to that, she spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan Chase, serving in various roles, including market executive for Metro New York Middle Market Banking.

In 2018, Segal was named as a Notable Woman in Finance by Crain’s New York Business.
