Capstone Partners, a middle-market investment banking firm, named Peter Nam head of the firm’s industrial technology investment banking group (ITG).

Based in Orange County, CA, Nam, who was already a managing director with Capstone Partners, has been with the firm for 15 years, focusing on advising middle-market businesses that provide sensing, metrology, control, robotics, automation, photonics, optics, artificial intelligence and industrial IoT technologies. As a career investment banker, he has more than 20 years of capital markets experience, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, capital formation and financial advisory work. Nam began his investment banking career with Credit Suisse First Boston in its global technology group focusing on M&A. He also worked in the technology investment banking group at Robertson Stephens.
