CIT Group served as sole lead arranger on a $60 million financing for Carolina Restaurant Group (CRG), an operator of 108 Wendy’s restaurant franchises across North Carolina and South Carolina.

Based in Charlotte, NC, CRG has been in business since 1993 and has grown to become one of the nation’s largest operators of Wendy’s franchises.

The company intends to use the financing to recapitalize, remodel existing franchise units and develop new restaurants.
