Laurie R. Collins joined Five Star Bank, a subsidiary of Financial Institutions and an affiliate of SDN Insurance Agency, Courier Capital and HNP Capital, as chief human resources officer.

Reporting directly to Martin K. Birmingham, president and CEO of Five Star Bank and Financial Institutions, Collins will work with leaders across the company, providing leadership and guidance in organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, professional development and change management. She will also be a driver in advancing the company’s diversity and inclusion goals.

Collins is a human resources professional with more than 15 years of public company experience. She most recently served as global director of total rewards, culture and HR technology at Columbus McKinnon. She gained expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, culture and engagement and HR technologies at Columbus McKinnon as well as in a previous role at PepsiCo.
