Ellen Comeaux was promoted to senior vice president of the commercial division of TIAA Bank.

As a member of the bank’s leadership team, her primary responsibilities include directing originations for the commercial lending division, including ensuring execution of key priorities, problem solving and establishing the overall strategic and tactical direction for the commercial real estate and vendor equipment finance business lines.

Comeaux will lead teams in commercial real estate and vendor equipment finance, reporting to John Pataky, executive vice president and chief banking officer for TIAA Bank. She joined TIAA Bank in 2015 after 24 years at GE Capital. She most recently served as chief of staff for the chief banking officer.

“Ellen has a diverse commercial lending background,” Pataky said. “Her extensive experience in commercial banking and lending, strategic planning and development, cross-functional team leadership, marketing and credit underwriting make her uniquely qualified to lead both CRE and VEF.”
