Trucking company Cowan Systems has acquired certain assets of Dick Harris & Son Trucking.
The transaction results in adding 95 new drivers and 95 power units to the Cowan fleet, in addition to several exciting new customers, a warehouse facility in Lynchburg, VA and an LTL operation in Blountville, TN.
Like Cowan, Dick Harris & Son Trucking is a family-owned company with terminals in Lynchburg, VA, Kingsport, TN, Richmond, VA, and Wilmington, DE.
