CSG Adds Equipment Leasing Professional to Practice

Frank Peretore joined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG) as a member concentrating in the representation of secured creditors and lessors in the equipment leasing and asset based lending industry.

Over the course of 30 years as an attorney, Peretore has developed a wide range of experience in the drafting of transactional documentation and enforcement of leases and loans for commercial equipment, machinery, railcars and vehicles as well as for the purchase and sale of multi-million dollar portfolios. He officially joined the firm on June 30 and will team with CSG’s roster of litigation, bankruptcy and corporate attorneys to provide clients with counsel tailored to leverage a knowledge base that spans all aspects of a business’s operations.

Practicing in both New York and New Jersey, Peretore also advises corporations, business entities, creditors and lessors in matters of litigation and pursuit of claims against debtors who have entered bankruptcy.

“CSG has a well-earned reputation within the legal industry, both for its excellence serving clients and its collaborative culture that allows attorneys to work across specialties in order to assemble the best possible team,” Peretore said. “I look forward to adding my name to its already deep and highly accomplished bench of attorneys.”

Peretore has published two books on equipment leasing and secured transactions, and has authored numerous articles for legal publications including the New Jersey Law Journal, Equipment Leasing & Finance Magazine, National Equipment Finance Association Newsline and Equipment Leasing Newsletter. A current member of the board of editors for the Law Journal Newsletter’s Equipment Leasing section, Peretore has also served in leadership positions for a number of industry groups, including the legal chairperson and the board of directors for the National Equipment Finance Association and Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors.

Prior to joining CSG, Peretore practiced for Peretore & Peretore, a firm he co-founded.

“Frank is a leading practitioner in this area of law and adds a new dimension to CSG’s broad suite of specialized practice areas,” said CSG Managing Member Daniel A. Schwartz. “His addition to the CSG family reflects our commitment to ensuring that we can bring a diverse range of resources to bear in serving our clients with top legal counsel.”
