CSI Leasing acquired two companies in Norway: Leasepartner and Leasemaker. CSI Leasing now has leasing subsidiaries in 10 European countries and services customers in more than 50 countries.
CSI Leasing will merge the two companies into one new entity based in Oslo, Norway. All employees will join CSI Leasing from the acquired entities. Day-to-day operations for the companies will be jointly managed by Kenneth Mitsem and David Rognstad.
“We are thrilled to welcome our new Norwegian colleagues to the CSI team,” Javier Heredia, senior managing director of Europe for CSI Leasing, said. “Not only will these acquisitions increase CSI’s business in Norway, but we hope to leverage our local presence to further expand into the rest of the Nordic region, including Sweden, Finland and Denmark. I am confident that Kenneth and David’s leadership will be key to our success.”
Co-founded and owned by Mitsem and Rognstad, Leasepartner has been in the Nordic leasing market since 2006. In addition to time at Leasepartner, Mitsem was previously head of enterprise sales for Telia Finance Norway, country manager for Kaupthing Finans NUF and senior sales officer for IT Finans. Rognstad has more than 25 years of leasing and finance experience. Previously, he was general manager of TeliaSonera Finance Norway and CEO of IT Finans and he also held various managerial roles at Telia Finans NUF.
“We are excited to join CSI for many reasons. One key element is to provide sustainable IT leasing solutions in the Nordics, along with the unique capability to provide international lease options for Nordic companies with a global footprint,” Mitsem and Rognstad said in a joint statement. “We think CSI is a perfect match for us and believe that CSI’s presence in the Nordics will be a great benefit to our existing and new customers.”
