Dime Community Receives Approval to Launch SBA 7(a) Program



Kenneth J. Mahon, president and CEO of Dime Community Bancshares, the parent company of Dime Community Bank, announced the bank has been approved as a Small Business Administration (SBA) lender. The bank will offer loans under the SBA 7(a) program, which will offer small businesses additional resources for their borrowing needs.

Commenting on the news, Mahon said, “The launch of our SBA lending program continues the expansion of our Business Banking division and allows us to develop new relationships with local small businesses. We recognize that small businesses and entrepreneurs are important to the economic vibrancy of the communities we serve and we look forward to supporting them grow and succeed.”
