DLL, a global asset finance company for equipment and technology, is joining forces with the Business Technology Association (BTA) to host the 2024 Patriot Pack ride for charity in Pennsylvania. DLL will host the third stop out of 24 on a nearly 1,500-mile ride down the east coast, starting in Ramsey, NJ and completing in Fort Pierce, FL, in support of the initiative.
From 2013 until 2023, the Patriot Pack, a group of motorcycle enthusiasts in the office technology industry, rode annually in honor of Jillian Gorman, daughter of Ricoh executive Bill Gorman, who lost her life to an aggressive form of blood cancer at the young age of 16. Since the Jillian Fund was absorbed by Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation in 2023, the ride has found a new purpose supporting veteran hiring and various charities through the BTA. The ride is raising money for a scholarship fund dedicated to families of veterans.
“DLL has always been about more than just financial solutions,” Gary Rigelsky, regional head of sales, Eastern region at DLL, said. “For over 50 years, we’ve been committed to community building, and September 9th is no different. This ride exemplifies our purpose to make a tangible difference in communities. Our partnership with BTA helps us to fulfill our mission by supporting the families of members of veterans with scholarships to pursue higher education. It is incredible to see people from all across the industry band together for a great cause.”
