DLL’s Tech Solutions Global Business Unit Expands Partnership with One Tree Planted

DLL expanded its partnership with Vermont-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit One Tree Planted. Through the partnership, DLL’s tech solutions global business unit will plant one tree for every financing agreement signed electronically during 2022.

Since the partnership began in early 2021, DLL has donated to One Tree Planted for every contract that met the criteria in the United States and Canada. In 2022, that pledge will expand to include financing agreements signed electronically in Australia and Nordics countries.

For every donation, One Tree Planted works with reforestation partners to plant trees and help to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities and protect biodiversity.

“We are thrilled to continue working with One Tree Planted to support reforestation in areas that need it most,” Rick Trobman, president of tech solutions for DLL, said. “We’re extremely excited to not only continue this initiative, but to expand it to include electronically signed agreements from even more countries.”

In 2021, DLL’s tech solutions global business unit partnered to plant 3,414 trees in California, Oregon, Michigan and Ottawa.

“We are grateful for our continued partnership with DLL as we move through 2022,” Ashley Lamontagne, forest campaign manager of One Tree Planted, said. “We have already been able to make a great impact through their contributions in 2021 and look forward to planting even more trees together to benefit people, nature and biodiversity.”
