Eastern Bank Adds Spurr as Commercial Relationship Manager for Security Alarm Lending



Greg Spurr joined Eastern Bank as a senior vice president and commercial relationship manager in the company’s commercial banking division specializing in security alarm lending. Based in Boston, Spurr’s experience includes a focus on specialized lending, including security alarm services and acquisition finance.“We are thrilled to welcome Greg Spurr to Eastern’s growing security alarm lending team,” Greg Buscone, executive vice president and senior commercial banking officer at Eastern Bank, said. “Our national footprint in the security alarm industry will benefit greatly from his experience and we look forward to deepening our commitment to the industry.”

Prior to joining Eastern Bank, Spurr worked at Rockland Trust as senior vice president of specialized lending, a role which included new business development and the management of a portfolio of companies in the security alarm, IT services and personal emergency response services sectors. Before Rockland Trust, Spurr served as vice president of the middle market at TD Bank, where he managed business development, underwriting and complex customer relationships for middle-market companies and security alarm companies in the New England region. In the community, Spurr serves as a board member and treasurer of Fidelity House Human Services and a board member for Lazarus House Ministries.
