Shari L. Lipski, principal at ECS Financial Services, was elected to serve a two-year term on the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s service providers business council steering committee.

With this appointment, Lipski joins one of five primary constituent bodies at the ELFA, all of which are essential parts of the organization’s operations. Lipski’s nominations to the service providers business council steering committee speak to her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry.

The committee represents organizations and firms providing a variety of related services to the members of the other four business councils. In her role, Lipski will help to analyze the needs of companies in its segment and recommend to the board how to meet those needs. Some of the company types she will work with include accounting, collections, law, consulting, software and equipment management.

For the past 18 years, Lipski has been an integral part of ECS Financial, an accounting firm specializing in the equipment leasing industry, responsible for corporate business development and portfolio management with an emphasis on the equipment leasing, finance and banking industries.

While serving on the committee, Lipski will continue her key roles and active involvement in various other associations including the National Equipment Finance Association, Commercial Finance Association—Midwest, Association for Corporate Growth and the Certified Lease and Finance Professional Foundation. She will also share the knowledge she has gained as an instructor for several organizations and by writing carefully-crafted articles for various trade publications.
