David Normandin, president and CEO of Wintrust Specialty Finance, was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.

This will be Normandin’s first year to serve as a board member following three years of service on the Business Council Steering Committee for the Small Ticket sector with the last two years as chair.

“I am excited to serve our community as a member of the board of directors of this great organization,” Normandin said. “It is an honor to join with fellow leaders to guide our important industry forward. I truly enjoy the industry community and I look forward to contributing to the future growth and prosperity of the U.S. business economy we serve.”

Normandin recently joined Wintrust to build its small ticket equipment leasing business headquartered in Southern California.
