ELFA president and CEO William G. Sutton sent a message yesterday (8/29/12) to ELFA members urging all lessees, their financing partners and other stakeholders to submit comment letters on the lease accounting Exposure Draft by the Sept. 13 deadline.

Sutton’s message noted that such comment letters are needed to make the standards-setting bodies aware of “the real-life business impact if the proposed rules changes are adopted.”

His message also included a message for ELFA members to send to their customers, as well as a link to the association’s online feedback form and tips for submitting an effective comment letter.
