ELFF Launches 24-Hour “Day Of Giving” Campaign

The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation designated June 4, 2019 a “Day of Giving” for everyone who has benefited from the wide range of industry research and academic outreach programs the Foundation provides.

This is the second annual Day of Giving, which is intended to attract new donors and remind people of the lasting impact they and their companies make when they support the ELFF’s mission to propel the equipment finance industry forward.

In celebration of its 30th anniversary this year, the ELFF hopes to raise at least $10,000 and attract 30 individual or corporate donors during this 24-hour campaign. All giving levels are welcome.

As part of the Day of Giving campaign, the ELFF is highlighting its key resources and programs, which are made possible entirely through individual and corporate donations, including:

  • The digital internship center, which connects the industry with the next generation workforce
  • The guest lecture program that lets industry participants share their stories to introduce students to the equipment finance industry
  • The free online library with access to industry-specific products, including the Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry, now in its 10th year, the Equipment Leasing & Finance Industry Horizon Report, Economic Outlook updates, and many more
  • Grant opportunities which fund studies on key topics for and about the equipment finance industry.

“The Day of Giving is a special opportunity to begin or continue your legacy of giving back to our industry,” said Jeffry Elliott, senior managing director, Huntington Equipment Finance and ELFF chairman. “All contributions, large or small, are tax-deductible and support the critical work of the Foundation in building the body of knowledge and future growth of the equipment finance industry.”

To help meet its donation goals, the Foundation is asking people to post, share, and retweet its Day of Giving messages on their social media channels (#ELFFGivingDay). In addition to sharing the Foundation’s social media messages, donors are encouraged to share their own reasons why they support the Day of Giving.
