Energi, a provider of comprehensive insurance programs to the energy industry, announced the Heating Efficiency Loan Program, a heating system financing program available through People’s United Bank. The program is designed for customers of Energi dealers to upgrade or convert to higher efficiency oil or propane systems. The Heating Efficiency Loan Program is an unsecured personal loan offering the convenience of fixed monthly payments with terms up to 48 months.

“Since consumers are being negatively impacted by high energy costs, their interest in energy efficiency improvements is at an all-time high. For that reason, it is critical for oil and energy dealers, focused on customer retention, to provide methods through which consumers can manage their energy spending,” said Brian McCarthy, CEO of Energi.

Energi saw the demand for energy efficiency upgrades throughout the Northeast region and decided to partner with People’s United Bank to offer the Heating Efficiency Loan Program. The program is designed to facilitate the financing of new equipment for dealers’ end customers increasing the value and breadth of services dealers can deliver. Benefits of the Heating Efficiency Loan Program include increased revenues, stabilization of customer attrition and increased profitability to the dealers.
