ENGS Promotes Johanneson to VP, Digital Strategy, Marketing & Originations

ENGS Commercial Finance promoted Christopher Johanneson to vice president of Digital Strategy, Marketing & Originations.

Johanneson joined ENGS in 2016 as director of Sales and took on roles of increasing responsibility throughout the company. With each responsibility, Johanneson promoted the company’s mission and goals with his leadership, vision and technical skills, all of which are necessary in his new role.

Maintaining an industry leading digital strategy is a foundational initiative for ENGS. With the ongoing rapid advancements in technology, together with the greater acceptance and demand within the financial service industry for technology solutions, ENGS saw a need to create a role dedicated to these initiatives. Under Johanneson’s management, the company will continue to enhance its digital strategy to: 1) create and develop greater internal efficiencies across all disciplines and 2) deliver differentiating FinTech tools such as ENGS’ recently launched proprietary vendor portal, PROPEL, to enhance our service offerings to our vendors and customers.

“We recognize the importance of speed and service, and offering cutting-edge point-of-sale finance solutions is at the forefront of our clients’ needs and desires,” commented Jim Freund, EVP of ENGS Commercial Finance Co. “We continue to invest heavily in digitizing our entire business, and our two newest FinTech products, Propel and LenderTrax, are great examples of market changing tools to help our clients sell more equipment, more efficiently.”

“I am excited to take on these new leadership roles and to be a part of one of the most experienced and talented teams in equipment finance,” Johanneson said. “ENGS is a respected and venerable brand, consistently providing equipment financing since 1952. We are hyper-focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and investing in the best tools and technology to help our clients move business forward seamlessly. I am proud to be a part of this ongoing effort.”
