Equipment Finance Cares Hosts More Than 40 Professionals at Latest Event

Equipment Finance Cares held its last event of 2022 at Blue Street Capital’s new office location in Huntington Beach, CA. The event hosted more than 40 equipment finance professionals from 25 different organizations.

“The Blue Street Capital team was an amazing host for our EFC’s second trip to Southern California,” Jesse Johnson, president of Consult Disrupt and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “A big thank you to all that attended and the continued support of all EFC sponsors.”

The program offered a two-hour workshop by Hilary Bilbrey on the DH Effect titled “Connecting for Postivite Change.” Attendees went hands on during the session and received valuable takeaways that they can introduce at their own organizations, including sharing their own authentic “why” for their job, connecting daily tasks back to their company’s mission and acknowledging teammates for who they are, rather than what they do.

“Everyone in attendance truly came with open minds and hearts. I was incredibly impressed by how vulnerable they were willing to get with one another while still having fun. How can one not be inspired by a group of humans who get together to ‘do good’ while growing themselves?” Bilbrey said.

Equipment Finance Cares also showcased six different charities and wrapped up the day with a two-hour networking event. The foundations that were showcased during the event were Operation Open Water, St. Tam Ky Project, Beyond Blindness, the Love Life Now Foundation, the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation and the Chris Walker Education Fund.

“I appreciate the investment in Equipment Finance Cares, care for community and DEI. I left the event filled with hope; seeing so many people who care was meaningful to me,” Brenda-Norine Langford of Insight Investments said.

“Hilary was amazing! I loved how interactive the workshop was,” Sarah Kelly of Dedicated Financial GBC said.

“Great event with excellent presentations and networking,” Chad Sluss of the National Equipment Finance Association said.

The next Equipment Finance Cares event will be on April 19 at Wintrust Asset Finance’s office in Frisco, TX.
