Equipment Finance Cares Launches Foundation Fridays Interview Series

Equipment Finance Cares unveiled its newest initiative, Foundation Fridays, which will consist of video interviews with equipment finance professionals about their philanthropic work.

“The Foundation Fridays initiative will allow for additional awareness to the charities and foundations that equipment finance professionals are associated with,” Jesse Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing for JDR Solutions and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said.

The initiative, which begins today, will highlight a new foundation/organization every week. These video interviews will ask:

  • What is the foundation’s mission?
  • How did the equipment finance individual get involved?
  • Where does donated money go?
  • How can people in the equipment finance industry make a difference?

The first Foundation Friday showcase is for the EPIC School based in Paramus, NJ. The interview is with Tony Luparello from the Macquarie Group and Peter Gerhardt, executive director of the EPIC School.

The EPIC School focuses on independence over perfection. With a 1-1 student-teacher ratio, the school develops applied skills so students can better integrate into society as adults. EPIC teachers and staff members shift the conversation away from what people with autism can’t do toward all they can do with the right intervention and support. To donate, click here.

The next Equipment Finance Cares event will be held on Nov. 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. PST. Regents Capital will host the event at its office in Costa Mesa CA.
