Equipment Finance Cares will host an event in on Sept. 20 in Plymouth Meeting, PA, from 1:30p.m. to 7 p.m. EST at Auxilior Capital Partners’ headquarters.

Lovern Gordon from Boston Financial and Love Life Now Foundation will be the event’s featured speaker.

The event will feature two panels, starting with the “Human Side of Leasing” panel, moderated by Lisa Rafter from Monitor. Panelists will include Hollis Bufferd of Star Hill Financial, Kareem Jernigan of Leasing Associates, Jennifer Martin of Key Equipment Finance and Sharon McGarvey of Odessa.  Topics of discussion for this panel will include mental health of employees, DE&I, engaging with the younger work force and women in leasing

The second panel, the “Best Practices” panel, will be moderated by Mike Toglia of Equipment Finance Advisor, and includes Rene Paradis of Auxilior Capital Partners; Tom Lyle of HPS Global Leasing, Donna Yanuzzi of 1^st Equipment Finance and Joe Leonard of Oakmont Capital Holdings.  The panel will focus on sharing thoughts on industry best practices.

Equipment Finance Cares is a platform that showcases how equipment finance professionals and organizations are giving back to their respective communities.  The event will also showcase foundations such as the Love Life Now Foundation, the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, the Chris Walker Educational Fund, Cookies, The Epic School, St. Anthony’s Academy and Magic Charities.

The day will conclude with a networking and fundraising event for Magic Charities.
