FDIC Sues Bank of America for $542 Million



Bloomberg reported that Bank of America is being sued for $542 million by the FDIC for deposit insurance that the bank “refuses to pay.”

Bloomberg said that the FDIC entered the lawsuit in federal court on Monday in connection to payments in 2013 and 2014.

In response, Bank of America said it had complied with FDIC regulations according to a statement obtained by Bloomberg.
