Fed Reports Bank Deposit Growth, Loan and Leasing Decline in Early April



Citing a report from the Federal Reserve, Reuters reported that between March 29 and April 5, U.S. commercial bank deposits climbed from $17.35 million in the previous seven-day period to $17.43 trillion.

In addition, according to Reuters, U.S. commercial banks recorded a lower total of loans and leases ($12.06 trillion) than the previous seven-day period ($12.07 trillion) between March 29 and April 5.
