Fifth Third Bank hired Pat Tatarek as vice president and indirect originations relationship manager.

Tatarek will join Fifth Third’s lease banking group and work in its office in Rosemont, IL. Tatarek will be responsible for providing financing solutions to independent lessors and vendor financing channels within institutional sources, primarily through non-recourse debt. Tatarek will report to Scott Kiley, senior vice president and group head of equipment finance capital markets at Fifth Third.

Tatarek has more than 25 years of equipment finance experience. He joined Fifth Third from First Bank of Highland Park, where he was a senior vice president of the lease finance group for six years. Prior to First Bank of Highland Park, Tatarek was with GE Capital for 16 years, holding various roles, including in the areas of business development and credit analysis.

“Pat’s equipment finance experience, in both the commercial and public finance space, will add significant value to Fifth Third,” Kiley said. “We’re excited to have him continue Fifth Third’s dedication to our independent and institutional lessor clients served by our lease banking group.”
