The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the son and wife of former Le-Nature’s CEO Gregory J. Podlucky were sentenced to nine and four years in prison, respectively, ending the criminal cases associated with the Latrobe beverage maker’s collapse.

The crimes involved the sale of $2.9 million in diamonds and sapphires and transferring of ill-gotten assets among shell companies after the 2006 bankruptcy of Le-Nature’s, the article said.

U.S. District Judge Alan N. Bloch will decide whether to grant the prosecution’s motion for the forfeiture of $1.4 million in Podlucky family accounts, and whether to impose a fine of a similar amount against the family members, according to the report.
