First Foundation Bank Makes Personnel Moves in Equipment Finance Department



First Foundation Bank made several promotions within its equipment finance department, promoting Ryan Gilbert to credit analyst III, Tyler Chu to Credit Analyst II, Stacey Thompson to lease/loan servicing specialist II and Nelly Caravez to lease/loan servicing specialist II. In addition, First Foundation added Kylie Link as a lease/loan servicing specialist I.

Gilbert joined First Foundation in 2016 as a credit analyst I. Gilbert will now help to manage the workflow of First Foundation’s credit team and answer questions of other credit analysts, helping to make sure that policies, procedures and service standards are followed. Gilbert reports to Garrett Reetz, vice president and credit department manager for First Foundation.

Chu joined First Foundation in 2020 as a credit analyst I with a background in small business lending.  Chu will increase his responsibilities in support of Reetz and the company’s entire credit team.

Thompson joined First Foundation in 2017 as a lease/loan servicing specialist I with a background in equipment finance documentation and funding. Thompson will increase her responsibilities in support of Bree Johnson, vice president and operations manager for First Foundation, and the company’s entire operations team.

Caravez joined First Foundation in 2018 as a loan operations assistant. Caravez will increase her responsibilities in support of Johnson and the company’s entire operations team.

Link has experience servicing the financial needs of small businesses. Link will provide customer service while also processing title, insurance and documentation work. Link will report to Johnson.
