Kieran O’Brien, formerly operations director at Cisco Capital EMEAR, joined Invigors EMEA, the European arm of The Alta Group, as an associate, based out of Dublin.
An internationally experienced captive and vendor finance specialist, O’Brien brings more than 25 years of experience in that sector to Invigors. In 15 years at Cisco Capital, O’Brien project managed the establishment and development of its captive infrastructure in more than 20 countries in EMEAR.
“Kieran brings a wealth of experience and expertise in captive and vendor finance operations in a wide range of countries,” said Chris Boobyer, senior partner at Invigors. “We are delighted that he is joining the team and believe that he will add strength and depth to our existing capabilities here in EMEA and also within the wider Alta Group.”
O’Brien’s appointment strengthens Invigors’ vendor and captive finance team in Europe and provides an important introductory platform into the leasing and asset finance market in Ireland.
“I am delighted to be joining the Invigors team. The European captive and vendor markets are facing major technology challenges driven by big data and the revolution in financial services in addition to the economic and political upheavals currently taking place,” O’Brien said. “I am looking forward to helping our clients to maximise the opportunities presented by those challenges as their business models evolve to meet the changing markets in Europe and elsewhere.”
Invigors, part of The Alta Group, is a consulting and technical services firm providing growth solutions for asset and vehicle finance companies, industry suppliers, manufacturers and captive finance organizations.
