Former GE Capital MD Joins Summit Funding as GM, Equipment Finance

Brian Lowe joined Summit Funding Group as the general manager of equipment finance reporting directly to president Richard Ross. Lowe will be leading a team to grow Summit’s material handling business in both the vendor finance division and middle market division.
Previously, Lowe was at GE Capital for eight years. His most recent role at GE Capital was as a managing director in business development within the equipment finance unit. At GE Capital, Lowe managed a team focused on originating new programmatic relationships across the construction, industrial, machine tool and energy industries.
Before GE Capital, Lowe was the national sales manager for a vendor program with major forklift manufacturers helping them increase sales through financing their independent dealer network and direct sales team.
Since 1993, Summit Funding Group has originated in excess of $2 billion in equipment lease and finance transactions.
