FORT Capital Resources Appoints New Director of Operations and Underwriting

FORT Capital Resources appointed Nathan Raiders as director of operations and underwriting. With an extensive background in the equipment finance industry, Raiders brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insights that will bolster FORT’s operations, underwriting and portfolio management.

Raiders has a proven track record in managing complex underwriting processes and implementing scalable operational frameworks. He has held key leadership roles at prominent financial institutions, including EverBank and KeyBank, as well as an independent lessor.

He started his career as a credit analyst and graduated to underwriting within the FDIC bank regulated environment. He then led the creation of credit policies and risk-rating frameworks at a lessor, enabling the investment committee to make informed decisions. He also played a pivotal role in developing pricing models and compliance systems that supported the company’s growth across verticals while also monitoring performance of an on balance sheet portfolio through closely managing the in house billing and servicing operations.

“Nathan has been a great addition to the team,” Brian Fleming, CEO of FORT, said. “His in-depth knowledge around credit and operations have already had a very positive impact here. In addition to his proven skill sets, he shares our values and holds himself to a high standard. There’s no doubt he’ll be a strong contributor as we pursue our mission.”

“I am honored to join the talented team at FORT during such an exciting time of growth and innovation,” Raiders said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to further enhance our operations and underwriting processes, while continuing to deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners. Together, we will build on FORT’s strong foundation and pursue new opportunities that drive success for everyone we serve.”

Raiders holds a B.S. in business administration with a focus on finance, economics and international business from Drexel University, and has earned Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) and Commercial Banking and Credit Analyst (CBCA) certifications.
