Fortune Names First American Equipment Finance a Top Medium Workplace



Fortune and Great Place to Work named First American Equipment Finance one of 2022’s best medium workplaces (fewer than 1,000 full-time employees). This is First American’s seventh time being named to this nationwide list, this year coming in at No. 59.

The best medium workplaces award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 200,000 current employees. In the survey, 98% of First American’s employees said First American is a great place to work. This number is 39% higher than the average U.S. company.

Great Place to Work selected the list of honorees using analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status and any other aspect of who employees are or what their roles are.

Over the past five years, First American’s business volume has grown from $606 million in 2016 to $1.38 billion in 2021. During this time, the company created more than 100 new positions at its newly built, headquarters in Rochester, NY.
