FORTUNE Ranks First American No. 14 Best Medium-Size Workplace in U.S.

FORTUNE and Great Place to Work ranked First American Equipment Finance No. 14 among the best medium-size workplaces in the U.S.

First American earned this accolade based on employees’ anonymous responses to an extensive survey about their levels of trust, pride and camaraderie at work. Consulting firm Great Place to Work reviewed the survey results of more than 52,000 employees from hundreds of companies in the ranking process.

Among the findings from the study: employee trust fuels business performance. Companies on the best small and medium workplaces list enjoy roughly three times the revenue growth of their peers, even as they provide a better experience for their people.

“First American’s employees make our company one of the top places to work in the U.S.,” said Alan Sikora, CEO. “Each day, my colleagues come to work with enthusiasm and drive to build a great company.  I am honored to work alongside people with such positive spirit and passion for the future we are building together.”

This elite nationwide recognition is in addition to First American’s other awards from FORTUNE/Great Place to Work, including best workplaces for women (No. 36), best workplaces in finance and insurance (No. 8), best workplaces for giving back (No. 26), best workplaces for new college grads (No. 41) and best workplaces for millennials (No. 16). First American has furthermore been named by ENTREPRENEUR Magazine as a top company culture (No. 6) and by Best Companies Group as one of the best places to work in New York (No. 2).
