Ted Galovan, CPA, MBA, rejoined Trimingham as managing director of its Western Division based in Salt Lake City after spending the past 10 years in private industry.

Galovan is a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of operating and financial experience. After earning his CPA, Galovan joined General Foods and rose to VP Controller of Eddie Bauer. Following this, Ted was CFO of Oberto Brands (snack foods), Deluxe Check (banking products), EAS Sports (sports beverages), Square Two Financial (credit cards) and Basic Research (cosmetics). Galovan is an advisory board member of LDS Business College in Salt Lake City.

He is supported by Val Weight, CPA, who has more than 30 years of CFO and controllership experience. Weight started his financial career in 1991 as a Division Controller with UniSource. Subsequently, Weight was VP Finance and CFO of Basic Research.
