GECAS Completes Purchase-and-Leaseback Transaction with Nok Air

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) delivered two new leased Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft to Nok Air under a purchase-and-leaseback transaction. The transaction was completed through the Regional Aircraft Group of GECAS.

GECAS completed a similar purchase-and-leaseback with the carrier in 2014, also for two factory-new Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Formed in 2000, GECAS Regional Aircraft Group leases nearly 400 turboprop and regional jet aircraft to airline customers worldwide. Among leading industry lessors, GECAS has the broadest product mix of turboprop and regional aircraft in the world including ATR, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft.

Nok Air currently operates a fleet of more than 20 aircraft, each featuring a colorful livery resembling a bird. The airline serves 26 destinations.
