General Dynamics Reports Q1 16.7% Earnings Increase; Gulfstream Deliveries Up Year/Year



General Dynamics reported Q1/17 earnings from continuing operations of $763 million, up 16.7% over $654 million in Q1/16 on revenue of $7.4 billion.

General Dynamics noted there were 30 Gulfstream aircraft deliveries in Q1/17 encompassing 23 large-cabin aircraft and seven mid-cabin aircraft compared to a total of 28 in Q1/16 encompassing 20 large-cabin aircraft and eight mid-cabin aircraft.

The company noted there was order activity across the Gulfstream product portfolio.
