Gibbons of QuickFi to Lead Master Talk on Agile Learning for STRIPES Leadership Program

Industry leader Nate Gibbons, chief operating officer at QuickFi, will lead a Master Talk on Agile Learning — The Shortcut to Leadership Development for STRIPES Leadership Program, the professional and personal leadership development program designed to challenge and inspire best-in-class leaders within the equipment finance industry in partnership with the Monitor.

This Master Talk will acknowledge the reality that the world and the people in it are different now. Knowing when and how to quickly adapt will better enable you to stay relevant and respond appropriately in ever-changing situations. In a rapidly changing world, it is difficult to master the concept of leadership in a traditional way. To be effective leaders, we must adapt, learn faster and broaden our approach.

“What if reaching our potential as leaders came not by learning one or two specific skills but by becoming more agile learners? This concept proposed by John Hagel may be the secret to effective leadership in a rapidly changing world,” Gibbons said.

STRIPES Leadership Program is a 10-month, rich and unique leadership development experience. STRIPES includes a mixture of several components, including Master Talks, Master Workshops, a Mentor/Mentee program, a three-day Breakthrough Intensive program with educational partner Gap International and a Living Leadership Development Plan. The first cohort will launch in September 2021, kicking off a transformative journey to leadership advancement. The curriculum is designed to present opportunities for participants to expand both personally and professionally to enhance their leadership potential.

“As the speed of business increases, so does the demand for greater flexibility and collaboration,” Lisa Rafter, CEO and founder of STRIPES Leadership Program, said. “In Nate’s Master Talk, he will share his personal problem-solving observations and discuss what participants are dealing with now and how they are currently responding to the changing world/workplace.”

As chief operating officer for QuickFi, Gibbons is focused on leveraging automation to improve the customer experience. Gibbons began his career at First American Equipment Finance, where he became vice president in the operations department before being asked to help develop and manage the company’s learning and professional development strategy. Gibbons is a strong advocate for the leasing and finance industry. He has served as chair of the Emerging Talent Advisory Council for the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, is a member of the ELFA’s Academic Outreach Committee, the chair of the ELFA’s LeasePAC Committee and he also serves on the ELFA’s board of directors. Gibbons is also president of the board of directors for the Certified Lease and Finance Professional Foundation.
