Goldman, Citi, JPMorgan Hold Largest Share of Fintech Funding



According to a report issued by the Digital Journal, the top 10 U.S. banks have participated in 81 deals to fintech startups, totaling more than $4.1 billion in disclosed funding since 2012.

The Digital Journal report cites analysis from CB Insights which noted that Goldman Sachs currently leads with 27 fintech companies in its portfolio after adding six in 2017.

CB Insights also pegs Citi with 26 fintech firms and JPMorgan Chase at 14, while Bank of America ranks sixth after failing to invest in any new fintech firms in 2017.
