Great American Insurance Group hired Lloyd J. Stoik as senior vice president within the company’s Property and Casualty group.

In his new role, Stoik will assume reporting responsibilities for Great American’s Property & Inland Marine, Ocean Marine and Specialty Equipment Services divisions, as well as Great American’s International division, which focuses on equipment leasing and specialty affinity programs for clients outside the U.S.

Stoik has over 30 years of underwriting and broker experience, most recently serving as senior vice president for Chubb Insurance Group. Stoik has served as vice chair of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association board of directors and is an active member of the American Institute of Marine Underwriters.

Based in Cincinnati, Great American Insurance Group is engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the retail, financial institutions and education markets.
