John Heist, Jr. joined Equify Financial as director of Capital Markets.

In his new positions, Heist will be responsible for establishing Equify as a market leader in capital markets to its peers. He hopes to expand its sell side capabilities for the company along with creating a buy side that works along with the core competencies of Equify.

“We are excited to bring John on board as our new director of Capital Markets,” said Patrick Hoiby, president of Equify Financial. “I have known John for a long time and his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry will help drive our company forward.”

Prior to joining Equify Financial, Heist was vice president of Syndications for Summit Funding Group. With over 30 years’ experience in the finance industry, he also held positions at CCA Financial Services and NELCO.

“I am excited to be given the flexibility to develop the capital markets department for Equify Financial and start building relationships that will not only help Equify Financial, but our customers as well,” said Heist.

Established in December 2011, Equify Financial is a privately-owned, independent, middle market financing company that provides financing for heavy equipment and transportation end-users in the construction, oil and gas, and transportation industries.
