Kirk Mann was hired as the senior vice president and general manager of Hitachi Capital America’s transportation finance division. Mann will replace the retiring Bob Otto, who has been leading the division since it was formed in 2001.

Mann previously worked for Equify, performing roles in sales, marketing and business development. Prior to that, he was the chief marketing officer and strategic sales initiatives leader of transportation finance at GE Capital. He has also held senior positions at Financial Federal Credit and Citicapital Commercial.

“Kirk is an excellent addition to our team and we’re excited to have someone of his caliber,” said Ryan Collison, president and COO. “His vast industry experience will aid Hitachi Capital America as we continue expanding the business and implementing new and innovative products.
