Hitachi Capital America announced that Brian Blend joined the company as regional controller, Technology Finance. Blend is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day relationships of assigned clients in the technology sector. He is based in Columbus, OH and reports to Steve Weislogel, chief operating officer of the Technology Finance business.

“The technology sector and the current environment are very dynamic. Our clients need flexible working capital solutions and a reliable financing partner to support their businesses. HCA is expanding its Technology Finance business and investing in additional resources to support our clients. We are thrilled to add an individual of Brian’s caliber to our team,” stated Weislogel.

Prior to joining HCA, Brian held a series of controller and senior finance roles at Freeland Contracting Company, Nickolas Savko and Sons, Black Box Network Services, and Xentry Systems Integration. Blend is a certified public accountant, holding a B.S. from Miami University and an M.B.A from Ashland University.
