Hitachi Capital America opened an office in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to support the company’s continued expansion of its transportation financing activities.
Located in Flower Mound, a center of the heavy-duty truck finance industry, the new office includes key members of Hitachi Capital’s Transportation Finance team including Kirk Mann, senior vice president of the Transportation Division, Dave Herring, director of National Sales – Heavy Duty, Thomas Ball, vice president of Intermediary Funding, and Chris Newcomer, senior credit manager.
“Having a presence in Texas is an important component of our effort to grow our market share in the heavy-duty finance space,” said Mann. “Economic and employment conditions remain favorable for the trucking industry and we’re seeing a healthy demand for both freight and carrier capacity. We’re excited to be where the opportunity is.”
The new office in Flower Mound adds to HCA’s growing list of locations across North America. In addition to the new Texas location, HCA maintains its headquarters in Norwalk, CT and also has operating centers in Michigan, Minnesota, Ontario, and Quebec.
Along with serving the heavy-duty truck market, HCA’s Transportation Finance division offers financing solutions for the medium-duty truck market and dealer floorplan financing.
