Hoffman Joins Webster as Head of Treasury Management



Webster Bank added Adam Hoffman as executive managing director, head of treasury management, responsible for leading all facets of treasury management and commercial card, including sales, client delivery and product management.

Most recently, Hoffman served as executive vice president and head of treasury solutions for BankUnited, overseeing treasury management sales, product, implementations, service and operations, as well as bank-wide responsibility for all card products. He has more than 30 years of experience in all phases of treasury management including positions at JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Capital One, BankUnited and various financial technology companies.

“Adam has a wealth of valuable experience, energy and creativity that he brings to this position,” Chris Motl, president of commercial banking at Webster Bank, said. “We are excited that Adam has joined our group in this important role, and I’m confident that his leadership will be instrumental to advancing our treasury management capabilities and positioning Webster for continued growth.”

Hoffman earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Lehigh University and an MBA from Columbia University. He currently holds 14 patents in the payments and e-commerce space and is a member of several advisory groups focused on the latest developments in the banking industry.
