JDR Solutions, a provider of support services and infrastructure to the equipment finance industry, will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2021.

JDR Solutions was founded in 2001 by Doug Williams, John Schaffner and Richard Lewis. Williams, Schaffner and Lewis were previously with Newcourt Financial and CIT before they decided to go out on their own and form JDR Solutions.

“We saw a need in the marketplace for our third-party outsourcing expertise, so we took a chance,” Lewis, who retired in 2020, said. “Going out on our own was a nerve-wracking experience; however, we knew we could leverage our industry experience and make a difference.”

JDR Solutions offers a variety of services to the equipment finance industry, including software agnostic portfolio administration, custom web-based portal development (customer self-service, originations and collections,) sales and property tax compliance, custom report creation, database conversions, consultation, hosting, and application support services.

“JDR’s goal as an organization is to have clients focus on making their customers happy and JDR will handle everything else,” Williams, who is the president of JDR Solutions, said.

JDR Solutions’ clients include banks, captives, manufacturers and independent finance companies in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. JDR Solutions’ customer base is comprised of 11% of the Monitor 100 as well as several other Fortune 500 organizations.

“JDR would not be here today without the continual long-term support of our customers,” Schaffner, who is the chairman of board at JDR Solutions, said. “We are grateful for the relationships that we have built with these organizations over the years.”
