Jobless Claims Fall to Lowest Since 2007



According to a recent report from the Labor Department, in the week ending July 5, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial unemployment insurance claims was 304,000, a decrease of 11,000 from the previous week’s unrevised level of 315,000.

The Labor Department said the four-week moving average was 2,571,250, a decrease of 7,750 from the previous week’s revised average. This is the lowest level for this average since October 27, 2007 when it was 2,561,750.
