KKR, Apollo to Pursue GE’s $11B Inventory Finance Arm

Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter, KKR and Apollo Global Management are seeking to acquire General Electric’s inventory finance arm, a unit with $11 billion in assets.

Bloomberg said the buyout firms made bids two weeks ago for GE Capital’s Commercial Distribution Finance business.

Bloomberg noted, according to the people, that GE could select a buyer by the end of the month for the unit, which arranges credit for retailers and manufacturers.
