Leasepath Makes Key Promotions and Forms New Product Council

Leasepath, an innovator in equipment finance software, promoted two key team members, formed a new product council and launched a strategic year dedicated to growth and excellence.

Michael Baez has been promoted to senior vice president, professional services. Since joining Leasepath in 2021, Baez has been instrumental in building and scaling Leasepath’s professional services team. His leadership has been a key factor in the company’s success in delivering high-quality, seamless solutions to customers.

“Mike has been a rock since joining Leasepath,” Jeffrey Bilbrey, CEO of Leasepath, said. “His industry expertise, vision and dedication have had an immeasurable impact on our organization, and he is instrumental in building and rewarding trust with our customers.”

In addition, Vanessa Roberts has been promoted to director of customer success. Since joining Leasepath in 2021, Roberts has been a driving force in customer success, taking on roles across implementations, support, success and special projects. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership in ensuring Leasepath’s customers receive the highest level of service and support. With the promotion, Roberts steps into Leasepath’s senior leadership team.

“Vanessa has proven time and again that she has the dedication and skills to elevate our team and our customers,” Jeffrey Bilbrey, CEO of Leasepath, said. “Her promotion is well-deserved, and we’re excited for her continued leadership in this new role.”

Leasepath has also launched the Leasepath Product Council, a strategic initiative designed to enhance alignment, accountability and drive innovation across the company’s cloud-first platform.

Chaired by Peter Sadgrove, vice president of product engineering, the council will focus on aligning product releases, prioritizing key initiatives and ensuring that Leasepath’s products integrate seamlessly to address the dynamic needs of its customers. Joining Sadgrove are implementation consultants Bilal Alam and Robin Slaven, who are tasked with overseeing the suite of CRM, origination, portfolio servicing and portal products.

“Leasepath is built on the idea that innovation and execution go hand in hand to creating a more intelligent workplace for all,” Bilbrey said. “These promotions and the launch of our product council represent our commitment to empowering our teammates and delivering industry-leading solutions for the equipment finance industry. 2025 is about raising the bar — not just for Leasepath, but for what our customers can achieve with us. We measure to succeed, and with these exceptional teammates leading the way, we’re ready to redefine what’s possible.”
